Vichar Vikas Mandal has established the Mahatma Gandhi
Mahavidyalaya in June 1969 to fulfill the needs of higher
education of the students coming from rural area and to
provide educational facilities suitable to achieve
agricultural and industrial development. To keep pace with
time, the college has introduced new courses to meet the
growing needs of the students for higher education in
different fields.
For dissemination of knowledge among the students , the
college implements various curricular , co- curricular &
extra curricular activities . This also helps to student to
achieve all round development & to raise the academic
standard .
It is note worthy to mention that the college has
implemented various scheme & provided research facilities.
This is the only college in rural area which provides the
facility of NCC training to the girl students. National
Assessment and Accreditation council has given B++ with (84
points) to this college. |
